Training Objective: Provide participants with a foundational understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), its mechanisms, its responsible use, and its applications across departments. Emphasis is placed on building prompt-writing skills and developing a critical mindset when using AI tools such as GlenGPT, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot.

- Hands-on activity : Interactive quiz and visual exercises on the AI lifecycle; explore model demos to illustrate training and inference.

- Global competition and regulation
- Responsible AI: biases, transparency, and ethics
- Impact on jobs and society
- Hands-on activity : Group discussion using real-world geopolitical cases (e.g. ChatGPT bans, AI in elections).

Prompt Engineering Basics (1h30)
- Understanding prompts and completions
- Prompt patterns: instructions, context, examples
- Testing prompts in different tools (GlenGPT, ChatGPT, Copilot)
- Hands-on activity : Prompt writing workshop: test and compare 3 types of prompts across tools, optimize prompts for clarity and intent.

- Evaluating reliability and confidence
- Spotting hallucinations and inconsistencies
- Creating validation checklists
- Hands-on activity : Case-based analysis: compare AI-generated outputs, find inconsistencies, and validate results using manual fact-checking.

- Brainstorm: identifying your own team’s use cases
- Hands-on activity : Workshop by department - Define a concrete use case, test AI on a task, present findings to the group
